Overall Opinion:
Overall, at 1 out of 5 stars, Complete Biome Probiotics is a below average probiotic.
There just isn’t much I really like about this probiotic supplement.
If I had to pick a few things I like, I’d say the capsules because they are smaller than average and they were easy to swallow.
The capsules are also gluten-free, dairy free, and non-GMO.
Other than that, I’m left with quite a handful of dislikes.
This probiotic just goes overboard.
It uses 30 billion cells and 10 billion strains.
This would put it above the typical range for a specific ailment (and definitely too much for daily use).
10 or more strains in a probiotic can actually be a bad thing because the strains begin to compete with each other and cancel one another out.
This probiotic is also very expensive.
It costs $44.84 total with shipping and only lasts you one month.
The website is also very sales-y and makes you jump through hoops just to buy their product.
When you click on “order”, it immediately preselects the almost $100 bundle.
It tries to upsell you every minute of the way and it makes me lose a lot of respect for the company.
It’s also just annoying!
I also experienced stomach pain and bloating while taking this probiotic.
I just didn’t feel any benefit from taking this probiotic and actually felt worse.
Overall, at 1 out of 5 stars, Complete Biome Probiotics is a below average probiotic because it’s expensive, causes side effects, goes overboard in strains and cells and uses too many sales tactics to upsell you.

Ingredients/Strain Profile
Complete Biome Probiotics contains 30 billion cells in 10 probiotic strains.
In particular, I like the use of Lactobacillus acidophilus in the probiotic lineup.
It’s one of my personal favorite strains and has been included in numerous research studies.
Lactobacillus acidophilus has been researched to show potential relief from the symptoms that come along with Crohn’s disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and gut dysbiosis.
This particular strain may also help improve immune function, limit the frequency of urinary tract infections (UTIs), and treat yeast infections.
Complete Biome Probiotics actually has 2 strains I’m not a fan of.
One is Bacillus coagulans.
I don’t like this strain because it can create spores in the body, which can lead to side effects in some people.
The second strain I don’t like is Lactobacillus casei.
This strain has been shown to be rather aggressive and can overrun the “good” bacteria.
Which goes against what we’re trying to accomplish from taking probiotics!
Allergy Concerns
Complete Biome Probiotics seems to be fairly allergy friendly.
The only potential allergen I want to mention is rice.
It’s in the form of low moisture rice dextrin.
It’s not extremely common but those with digestive disorders sometimes have a sensitivity to rice.
The capsules don’t contain any milk/dairy, gluten, salt, soy, egg, or shellfish.
They also don’t have any preservatives or fillers.
However, it’s processed and manufactured in a facility that may process milk, wheat, soy, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and crustacean shellfish.
As a perk, this probiotic is non-GMO.
The other ingredients include: vegetable cellulose (DRcaps®) and medium chain triglycerides.
Price/Value
For 30 capsules, lasting 1 month, it costs $44.84.
When you break it down, it ends up being $1.49 a day to take this probiotic.
This is super expensive, even for a probiotic that’s meant for a specific ailment.
I don’t think this probiotic is a good value for the price.
There are definitely much better options out there for specific ailments.
Side Effects
I definitely experienced some side effects when I was taking Complete Biome Probiotics.
My belly hurt and I was bloated.
It was a total bummer.
Needless to say, I wasn’t a happy camper after having those side effects.
Also, keep in mind that this product is meant for intense support for a specific ailment and not for daily use (based on the high amount of strains and cells).
