Overall Opinion:

Overall, at 2.5 out of 5 stars, GoodBelly Probiotic Supplement is just an average probiotic.

There are some things I like and don’t like about this particular supplement.

I do like that it’s convenient.

You don’t have to refrigerate these capsules, which is a perk.

The capsules are also vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free.

It also comes in a cool little container that helps keep the probiotic cells safe.

Now for what I don’t like about this product…

I definitely got side effects while taking the GoodBelly Probiotic Supplement.

I had really bad bloating and stomach pain, so that wasn’t fun at all!

This probiotic has 10 billion CFUs, which is borderline going above the ideal cell count for a daily probiotic.

The directions say to take 1 – 2 capsules every day.  The capsules were a bit smaller than average, so that part was nice.

However, it can get very expensive if you take 2 capsules per day – it works out to be $1.33 daily!

There’s also no satisfaction guarantee and the cells are only guaranteed at the time of manufacture.

It also says it’s not intended for people with immune problems.

Statements like those make me a little wary!

I also just didn’t feel too great while taking this probiotic; sadly I didn’t have a “good belly” as a result.

Overall, at 2.5 out of 5 stars, GoodBelly Probiotic Supplement is an average probiotic because it’s dairy-free, gluten-free, and doesn’t have to be refrigerated but it can cause side effects, is expensive, and just didn’t help any of my belly issues.

The Details:

Ingredients/Strain Profile

GoodBelly Probiotic Supplement has 10 billion cells in 1 probiotic strain.

They use the strain Lactobacillus plantarum 299v.

L. plantarum has been researched to show improvement with Crohn’s Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome and the not so fun symptoms that go along with them such as bloating, constipation, and irregularity.

This strain is unique and has been researched to show potential benefits for heart health.

It may help maintain normal blood pressure levels and support overall circulation.

Research also suggests that this strain might be able to help improve LDL and HDL cholesterol levels.

Allergy Concerns

GoodBelly Probiotic Supplement does have some allergy concerns.

It contains trace amounts of soy and potato starch.

If you have any allergies to these, please steer clear of this probiotic.

I list potato starch on here because those with digestive disorders can sometimes see problems digesting starches.

So I don’t like when products add this ingredient in there.

This probiotic contains NO: dairy, gluten, sugar, artificial colors, or artificial flavors.

It’s also vegan, which is a perk.

Other ingredients include: hydroxypropyl-methylcellulose (capsule) and magnesium stearate (vegetable).

Price/Value

For 30 capsules, lasting 15 – 30 days, it costs $19.99.

This works out to be $0.66 – $1.33 per day, depending on how many capsules you take.

For one capsule daily, $0.66 is in the average price range.

However, if you take 2 capsules, it ends up being a very expensive $1.33 daily cost.

I honestly don’t think this probiotic is a good price for the value.

Side Effects

I definitely got side effects while taking this probiotic.

I honestly wasn’t expecting to see any major side effects from this one.

I was SO bloated while taking this probiotic and had really bad belly pain.

This wasn’t fun at all.

Be extra careful if you have a sensitive stomach with this probiotic!

Guarantee

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any sort of guarantee for GoodBelly Probiotic Supplement.

This is a definite bummer!

I really like when companies can stand behind their product and offer customers at least something in regards to a guarantee.
