Overall Opinion:
Overall, at 3 out of 5 stars, TruNature Digestive Probiotic is a slightly above average probiotic.
There is definitely a lot I like about this probiotic.
It’s really easy and convenient to use.
You only have to take 1 capsule daily and the capsules are smaller than average and easy to swallow.
They also come in convenient blister packs, which makes them great for travel and throwing in a purse or suitcase.
Another perk is that you don’t have to refrigerate this probiotic.
That makes it much more stable.
TruNature Digestive Probiotic is also really affordable and comes in much lower than average compared to other daily probiotics.
It’s also gluten free, dairy free, and soy free.
Which we know are big issues these days.
There were also a few things I didn’t like about this probiotic.
It’s not very diverse when it comes to probiotic strains.
It only uses 3 strains and I would’ve like to see at least a few more in there to get added benefits.
I also wasn’t blown away with how I felt.
I noticed some slight improvement with my digestive issues such as bloating and constipation but nothing life changing.
Overall, at 3 out of 5 stars, TruNature Digestive Probiotic is a slightly above average probiotic because it’s easy, convenient, affordable and allergy friendly but just isn’t very diverse when it comes to probiotic strains.
The Details:
Ingredients/Strain Profile
TruNature Digestive Probiotic contains 10 billion cells in 3 probiotic strains.
In particular, I like the use of Lactobacillus acidophilus in the probiotic lineup.
This is one of my favorites and I’m sure if you’ve watched or read any of my reviews, you’re familiar with this particular strain.
It’s been tested quite a lot in research studies and is commonly used in probiotic supplements.
Lactobacillus acidophilus has been researched to show potential relief from the symptoms that come along with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Crohn’s disease, and gut dysbiosis.
This strain may also help support a healthy immune system, treat yeast infections, prevent traveler’s diarrhea, and limit the frequency of urinary tract infections (UTIs).
Another strain I like is Bifidobacterium lactis.
This probiotic strain may potentially help those with Celiac Disease and the related symptoms such as bloating and diarrhea.
Currently, the only effective treatment for Celiac Disease is completely abstaining from gluten, but further research is being done to see if this strain may play a bigger role in treating the disease.
Bifidobacterium lactis may also help treat lactose intolerance and boost immune function.
Allergy Concerns
TruNature Digestive Probiotic seems to be fairly allergy friendly.
The capsules are free of gluten, soy, and dairy.
However, it doesn’t list anything about wheat, nuts, eggs, etc.
So if you’re super allergic to any of those, maybe be careful with this one.
The other ingredients include: cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), and titanium dioxide.
Price/Value
For 100 capsules, lasting over 3 months, it costs $21.17.
When you break it down, it ends up being $0.21 a day to take this probiotic.
That’s incredibly affordable!
21 cents a day is one of the lowest daily prices I’ve seen for a daily probiotic.
Kudos to that.
I think it’s a good value for the price.
Side Effects
I was happy because I didn’t see any negative side effects when taking TruNature Digestive Probiotic.
This is a definite plus!
Sometimes you can see belly pain and bloating but I didn’t see any of that.
I think it may be because this probiotic is fairly allergy friendly.
Guarantee
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any sort of money back guarantee for TruNature Digestive Probiotic.
That’s a bummer.
However, you might be able to get a refund if you bought it from Amazon.com, which is the main way that TruNature ships out their products.
