Overall, at 1 out of 5 stars, It Works! Probiotic is a below average probiotic.
I’m disappointed with so many aspects of this product and company.
The few positives I managed to find were the vegetarian capsules, blister pack/no refrigeration requirement and the use of a prebiotic.
Other than those things, I was completely let down.
First off, just trying to buy the product is a total pain in the butt.
I’ve honestly never been so upset with a website.
In order to get the best rate, you must sign up to become a “loyal member”, which costs a non-refundable $50.
If you don’t buy into it, it costs a whopping $52.00 plus $8.00 shipping!
That price tag alone is outrageously high and not worth it at all.
You also can’t seem to even buy the product unless you become a member or have a distributor ID.
Frankly, it all feels a bit like a pyramid scheme or something.
They seem more concerned with getting sales and distributors than having a product that helps people.
The company does a horrible job at disclosing any potential allergy concerns – which is a huge factor these days!
I looked all over the actual product box, blister packs and website and I couldn’t find anything.
That’s concerning.
These capsules also aren’t safe for kids.
It also says not to take this probiotic if you have immune problems.
That statement seems odd and I’ve yet to see a company list something like that.
Also, I felt NO benefits from taking It Works! Probiotic.
If I’m going to spend $60 on something, I would hope to see fantastic results.
Every aspect of this is frustrating and not worth it.
Overall, at 1 out of 5 stars, It Works! Probiotic is a below average product because it’s expensive, is a headache to buy and isn’t safe for kids.

Of note, I like the inclusion of Lactobacillus acidophilus.
Lactobacillus acidophilus is naturally found in the intestinal tract and mouth.
It has been shown to help break down and digest food particles and help absorb nutrients.
It may help relieve occasional constipation, gas, and bloating and also helps increase the number of healthy gut flora.
L. acidophilus may also help your body defend itself against urinary tract infections and yeast infections.
I also like the use of Lactobacillus gasseri.
This strain has been reported to help reduce inflammation in the body.
By reducing inflammation, it may aid in the relief of menstrual pain or allergies and asthma.
Allergy Concerns
It Works! Probiotics lost so many points in my book because they don’t list allergy concerns anywhere!
I looked all over the actual product box, blister packs and website and I couldn’t find anything.
This is so concerning and frustrating.
We just have no idea what potential allergy concerns could be hiding in these capsules when it doesn’t explicitly say anywhere.
If you have allergy concerns of any kind, my suggestion is to steer clear of this probiotic!
Other ingredients include: microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, vegetable stearic acid, and silica.
Price/Value
For 30 capsules, lasting 1 month, it costs a whopping $60 with shipping.
This works out to be $2.00 per day to take this probiotic.
That’s SO incredibly expensive.
Probiotics are designed for daily use and with this one you’d wind up paying $720 per year.
I definitely don’t think this is a good price for the value.
I honestly think it’s a waste of money and there are so many better products out there.
Side Effects
I didn’t experience any negative side effects while taking It Works! Probiotic.
Thank goodness.
If I did get side effects I would’ve been even more upset at the product.

This is crazy.
