Overall Opinion:
There are a handful of things I really like about Florajen Women High Potency Probiotic.
This probiotic is designed specifically for women who are taking antibiotics to ease the icky side effects, while also helping restore and balance vaginal flora and maintaining healthy pH levels.
They use 3 incredibly well-researched and beneficial probiotic strains and in the CFU range of the clinical studies (10-15 billion).
The capsules are a lot smaller than average and super easy to take! You also can take them with or without food, which is really convenient.
I personally didn’t have any side effects and I noticed some improvement with my overall gut issues and gas and bloating from my Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
It’s also really allergy friendly, non-GMO, free of coloring and preservatives, and is Kosher.
The capsules are formulated to be stomach acid-resistant and bile tolerant, which is really important in order for the healthy bacteria to stay alive for the internal journey.
However, there are a few things I don’t like about this women’s probiotic.
Although I really like the probiotics strains used (they’re all very well-known and researched), I wish they had a few more strains to help make it a bit more diverse.
I also wish they had included some sort of prebiotic fiber, which acts as a type of fertilizer for the healthy bacteria.
The company goes above and beyond with their “Cold Chain Commitment”, meaning that from the time their probiotics are manufactured to when you receive them, they are kept cold.
