Overall Opinion:

I gave Dr. Whitaker PearlBiotic Spheres 4 out of 5 stars.

I think this probiotic has a lot of good qualities to it.

I like that it’s super easy to use.

Just take 1 pearl tablet daily with water prior to any meal.

The pearl tablets are tiny and so easy to swallow.

So this may be a great option if you have a hard time swallowing big pills.

It’s also convenient because you don’t have to refrigerate it, just make sure you store it in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly closed.

This probiotic is gentle for daily use and I didn’t experience any negative side effects.

I felt good the whole time I took it.

It also includes a prebiotic (FOS) in the lineup.

I like that it has this in there because FOS acts as a food for the probiotic bacteria and helps keep them alive.

Another great quality is that it has Bio-Tract.

This is a special delivery system that helps the friendly bacteria survive your stomach acid and get down into your digestive system so it can go to work.

It’s also gluten free, which is a definite perk.

There are only a few downsides I saw with this probiotic.

One is that it’s really expensive, coming in at $36.98 once you factor in shipping.

This is definitely pricier than your average probiotic.

The second thing is that I wish it had a few billion more CFUs.

It’s really gentle but having some more live bacteria would boost the effects.

Overall, I think it’s a good probiotic.

The Details:

Ingredients/Strain Profile

Dr. Whitaker PearlBiotic Spheres has 2 billion CFUs in 7 probiotic strains.

It also has 25 mg of Fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which is a prebiotic.

I like the inclusion of Lactobacillus acidophilus in the probiotic blend.

This strain has been researched quite a bit and has been shown to help with stomach problems such as bloating, gas, and constipation.

It may also help relieve some of the symptoms that come along with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), gut dysbiosis, and Crohn’s disease.

Another probiotic strain I like in this supplement is L. plantarum.

This strain may help aid with digestion, prevent symptoms of gas, and keep the bacteria levels in the body in check.

Allergy Concerns

Dr. Whitaker PearlBiotic Spheres have one allergy concern, which is milk.

The bottle states that it contains trace amounts of milk protein from the manufacturing process.

However, it also states that it’s suitable for individuals following lactose-free or lactose-restricted diets.

So you may be in the clear if you’re lactose intolerant or are sensitive to it, but just be cautious if you’re very allergic.

It’s also gluten free, which is a definite perk.

The other ingredients include: Microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, pectin, sodium carbonate, stearic acid, guar gum, and turmeric (color).

Price/Value

For 30 pearl tablets, which lasts 1 month, it costs $29.99.

However, you have to pay an additional $6.99 for shipping and handling.

This brings the grand total to $36.98.

When you break it down, it works out to $1.23 a day to take this probiotic.

This is super expensive, especially compared to other daily probiotics.

This is one of the main downsides to this supplement.

I wish it weren’t as expensive but I still think it ends up being a good value for the price.

Side Effects

I was really happy because I didn’t see any negative side effects when taking this probiotic.

Usually I have a tendency to see some minor belly pain or bloating.

But this probiotic is gentle and not as potent as others.

I felt well the whole time I took it.

Guarantee

Dr. Whitaker PearlBiotic Spheres has an awesome guarantee.

If you’re not 100% satisfied with the product, you have 90 days to get a full refund.

I love when companies offer their customers a guarantee and stand behind their products.

Kudos to Dr. Whitaker.
