Overall Opinion:
My whole experience with Nature’s Base Probiotics 70 Billion CFU was NOT good and it only seemed to get worse as I went.
It’s really popular on Amazon and has the coveted “Amazon’s Choice” special tag. It has 4.6 out of 5 stars with 1,540 ratings.
I try to test out a lot of probiotics sold on Amazon because so many of us get our supplements from there (and basically all life’s wants and needs).
But I have SO many issues and concerns with this product and the brand and over time I’ve seen firsthand how we need to be EXTRA careful buying from Amazon sellers.
We put so much stake in Amazon reviews and usually sway towards brands that have Amazon’s stamp of approval (which doesn’t have our best interest at heart AT ALL).
So we have to be mindful because they’re after our wallets, not our wellbeing.
The brand only has 2 products both on their Amazon site and actual website, which isn’t super reassuring.
They have a sticker on the bottle that says: Claim 1 free extra bottle at freeprobiotic.org.
The website actually works, which is a shocker, but they basically send you a free bottle if you rate them high on Amazon. Some customers never even got their free bottles after filling out all the information and review.
But this makes perfect sense as to how and why they have SO many 5 star reviews. It’s just GLOWING reviews one after the other and all are a solid 5 stars. This should be a major red flag when you’re looking at products to buy online.
Make sure to always look at both sides of the spectrum and look through the negative comments. So many reviewers had horrible experiences, really bad side effects, or zero improvements on their health issues.
These probiotics didn’t work for me in the least and I honestly just felt “off” while taking them.
A major worry I have is that the seal under the lid was broken when I first got my bottle.
I didn’t think too much of it, thinking the glue or adhesive just wasn’t that strong.
But now I’m really concerned because so many people got bottles with broken seals. Some returned their bottles and the replacement bottle had broken seals, too!
To make matters worse, many customers reported having missing capsules and shorted the original 30 capsules!
This throws up so many red flags for safety concerns, quality control, and just overall mistrust in the company and product.
I feel like I could go on forever, but Nature’s Base Probiotics is a hard pass! Please don’t buy it.
The formula alone is too potent and has way too many strains and CFU, causing more harm than good.
It just scares me that we all buy so many health and beauty products from Amazon that we ingest or put on our bodies in some way. And we’re just being tricked by false claims and promotions that only benefit the platform and the seller and leave little regard for the customer.
I’ll get off my soapbox now but please do your research, read all reviews you can, and utilize tools and honest resources like this site where we actually buy and test the products ourselves and aren’t endorsed or swayed by the companies.
So, needless to say, I give Nature’s Base Probiotics 70 Billion CFU supplement 1 star and DON’T recommend it in any way, shape, or fashion.

Ingredients/Strain Profile
Nature’s Base Probiotics has 70 billion CFU and 10 probiotic strains.
They list it as high potency and I agree 100%. But I don’t agree with the benefits of it or the product as a whole.
More is not better and this is just WAY too much. It’s too many different probiotic strains and too many bacteria and it just causes more problems that way.
On the label, it says it’s “professional grade, 3rd party tested, and non-GMO”. It also says, “manufactured in USA with global ingredients.”
I just don’t trust this product or brand at all so I can’t put much faith in what’s actually true or not.
It just says Probiotic Blend on the ingredients label and says 70 billion CFU as the amount per serving and lists the 10 probiotics. I don’t like that they don’t specify exact strains and how much CFU is from each strain.
It says it has Lactobacillus acidophilus, how much, we don’t know. But I do really like this strain because it’s been shown to help in so many ways like reducing cholesterol, preventing diarrhea, improving Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) symptoms, treating and preventing vaginal infections, promoting possible weight loss, and reducing allergies.
Unfortunately, it also has one of my least favorite strains, Bacillus coagulans.
It’s been known to cause spores in the body and in turn cause some icky side effects like gas, bloating, and belly pain.
It also has 100mg of FOS prebiotic fiber, which is actually a higher amount than I typically see in supplements. And too much prebiotic fiber can also cause negative side effects.
Allergy Concerns
There aren’t any major allergy concerns listed on this probiotic.
The bottle says it contains ZERO hormones, preservatives, antibiotics, yeast, soy, sugar, or artificial ingredients/flavors.
The other ingredients include: Rice flour, Hypromellose (Veggie Capsule), Magnesium Stearate, and Gellan Gum.
Price/Value
A bottle of Nature’s Base Probiotics is $19.95 on Amazon.
They’re supposed to have 30 capsules in them, so it works out to be about 66 cents per day to take.
However, a big concern is that a lot of people online were shorted and didn’t get the full 30 capsules in the bottle.
I made the mistake of not counting mine when I first got them (because isn’t that supposed to be their job??)
The bigger red flag is that so many people got bottles with the seal broken under the lid!
When I first got mine, it definitely wasn’t sealed all the way. I didn’t think too much of it because sometimes the Arizona heat melts the glue or adhesive.
But now I’m worried about quality control and just overall safety issues.
So whatever the price is, it’s just not worth it, so save your money!
It’s just one bad thing after another with this probiotic!
Side Effects
This supplement lands in my category for potent probiotics.
It’s definitely strong and has such a high potency with 70 billion CFU, 10 strains, and FOS.
As we’ve learned, more isn’t always better and high potency can lead to bad side effects.
Much to my surprise, I didn’t see or feel any bad side effects whatsoever.
This makes me suspicious because such a potent product should give me some sort of side effects, at least for a little in the beginning.
I felt absolutely no difference and saw ZERO benefits while taking it.
When this happens, I feel like the probiotic doesn’t have much if any viable bacteria in it.
I desperately rely on probiotics to help with my IBS, bloating, constipation, belly pain, food allergies, vaginal health, and immune support.
All my issues were horrible and this product didn’t help in the least.
They state it aids support to gut health, leaky gut, weight loss, anxiety, constipation, gas relief, and bloating relief.
None of that was true for me.
I looked around at other customer reviews on Amazon and SO many had the same experience as me where it didn’t work at all.
Others got super intense side effects and their initial issues were so much worse. One person even ended up in the emergency room because of it, yikes!
Seriously so concerning!

I don’t see a money-back or satisfaction guarantee listed anywhere on the page.
This is a definite disappointment…
I poked around their main website (https://naturesbase.com/) and can’t find a guarantee on there either.
If you buy from Amazon, though, it looks like you might be able to return it.
But some of the reviews I read said people who returned it didn’t get a refund.
Not good all around on this one!
